Brendan Boily made his return from the DL and started on the hill in the Mavs win over Boise. Boily got an inning of work and was relieved by Boden Mills, who went the distance in the Mavs 10-5 win at Boise. The Mavs put up 4 runs in the top of the first, but Boise answered with three of their own in the bottom of the inning.

Riley Harrison led the game off with a triple.  Charlie Alandt drove Harrison home with a single and Cale LaFever followed up with another single.  Tanner McGrath doubled down the right field line to score both Alandt and LaFever. Caleb Nielebeck rounded out the scoring in the first with an RBI single.

The Mavs took the lead for good in the top of the 4th when Nielebeck led off with a walk.  Jon Milner laid down a sacrifice bunt and reached on a throwing error.  Nielebeck would score on a wild pitch, followed by Milner crossing the plate on a fielder’s choice by Mills.

The Mavs went on to rack up ten runs on eleven hits.  McGrath led the charge with three RBIs.  Alandt, Juan Garcia, Nielebeck, Milner and Mills each contributed an RBI apiece.  The win moved the Mavs into a tie for second place in the SIC.
