The Mavs' Boden Mills and the 'Drew Zamuda went toe to toe on the mound for five innings but the Eagles bats came to life late to hand the Mavs the loss.  The game was tied 0-0 going into the bottom of the fifth, when the Mavs surrendered an unearned run.  In the bottom of the sixth, the Eagles hitters found the holes to put up another 4 runs.  The Mavs just couldn’t get the offense going.

The Mavs had three hits on the night.  Carson Smith, Charlie Alandt, and Caleb Nielbeck each singled to tally the Mavs three hits.
